Netherlands

Jurjen Drenth holds by far the largest stock of detailed images of the Netherlands, covering many different subjects. Thousands of superb images! The preview on this website shows just a few of these sorted into six characteristic themes.

International

Drenth has worked in many countries. This site contains a mix of his international work, the majority concerning Europe.

Features

Special subjects, chosen either as a personal initiative or as an assignment, include remarkable rivers such as the Vecht and the Waal and the seasons of winter and spring. Surprising themes such as ‘Tourists in Holland’, ‘White Lebanon’ and ‘Totally Venice’ are also included.

Dutch Masters

Rembrandt, Vermeer, Van Gogh..., these names attract millions of tourists to the Netherlands. And there is more to these painters than their paintings alone. Many subjects they portrayed still exist today. Jurjen Drenth is a master of revival, having the ability to show scenes and people in a way that even surprises the Dutch. He concentrates on the almost forgotten or hidden parts of Dutch culture.
